BPS Club

BIRLASPHERE – The Eco Club of our school was formed in 2014, with an initial membership of about 20 students who were named as the ECO WARRIORS. Today, there are more than 250 active members, who are named as ECO MONITORS.The name BIRLASPHERE has been derived for the word BIOSPHERE.
Just as the Biosphere sustains life on Earth, BIRLASPHERE motivates our school studentsregarding the need of awareness for creating a healthy environment around us, in order to sustain life.
 
Eco club in our school is a means by which students can be empowered to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence and engage their parents and neighborhood communities to promote sound environmental behavior, in a way that the constraints of the classroom and curriculum won’t allow.
 
Environment at BIRLA PUBLIC SCHOOL is more than an issue, it is a passion. BIRLASPHERE trains the students to be conscious about the environment.

February 24,2020

                             -On February 24, 2020 Himachal Pradesh became the 1st state in the country to have 100% LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) coverage due to the implementation of PMUY (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana) scheme.
